Project Narrative
GWTT was contracted to assist with design, build, and startup/prove out of PFAS treatment equipment to be installed and integrated into an existing permanent treatment system building at a former Navy base in Maine. The system was designed to reduce PFAS concentrations of construction dewatering water prior to it being introduced into the existing permanent treatment system.
GWTT shipped and installed a 21,000-gallon holding tank outside of the existing treatment system building and integrated new sediment filtration, transfer pumps and PFAS media vessels inside the existing treatment plant. Additionally, we upgraded existing electric and controls infrastructure to integrate the new equipment.
