Project Narrative
GWTT was awarded this contract to provide daily O&M services for an existing wastewater treatment facility. This 60 GPM treatment system consists of a wastewater treatment plant designed to remove grit, sediment, solids, and contaminants to produce effluent that complies with NYC DEP Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit Limits. The system includes mechanical separation, chemical adjustments, sludge collection, sand and carbon filters, treated water, and bag filters.
GWTT was originally contracted to do start-up and training for this treatment system, but the contract was extended due to GWTT’s extensive knowledge of the wastewater industry and its operators’ skilled abilities to perform O&M safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
In addition to routine O&M services, GWTT also conducts compliance sampling, solids removal, reporting, site supervision during on-site projects, and off-hours alarm monitoring and response. GWTT is also responsible for documentation management, waste management, and has been delivering fully compliant service for more than two years.
